The NYFW Heart Truth Red Dress Collection Promotes Women's Health

The Heart Truth Red Dress Collection 2014 is an event at New York Fashion Week that has celebrities walk the runway to raise awareness on how women can make changes in their lives to combat or prevent heart disease and stroke.
All of the women invited to walk in the show wear designer dresses in red, a color that embodies power, courage and passion. Some of the celebrity stars who graced the runway for this good cause include NeNe Leakes, Joan Jett, Victoria Justice and Lindsey Vonn, who still walked the runway on crutches, even though that injury is preventing her from competing at the Winter Games in Sochi this year.
Throughout the month of February, The Heart Truth is holding a 28-day campaign to help promote healthy women and healthy hearts.
