Starkey Hearing Technologies' Livio AI is Multi-Functional

Starkey Hearing Technologies is revolutionizing the hearing aid device, making it compatible with the machine learning age. In addition to its traditional duties, the new Livio AI is equipped to translate languages, track fitness and even monitor falls.

The next generation hearing aid device can translate between 27 languages with the help of an accompanying application called 'Thrive.' Livio AI can also connect to the step-counting application on a smartphone, track a "brain score" that is "based on active listening and social engagement," and allow for gesture control for select home entertainment devices like TVs.

Starkey Hearing Technologies is still developing a way for the smart heading aid device to track falls through built-in sensors. If the user suffers a fall, the Livio AI will automatically notify emergency contacts.
