AI-Enabled Hearing Aids

The Eargo 6 Hearing Aid is Equipped With Automatic Sound-Adjust Algorithms

Health tech company Eargo has announced the release of the Eargo 6, its latest smart hearing aid that comes with built-in sound-adjust algorithms designed to automatically change volume output based on a user's surrounding environment.

In addition, the sixth-generation Eargo device features 'Mask Mode,' which was developed specifically to assist with pandemic-era communication where having to speak to one another through a mask is commonplace. The new mode tackles the challenges of masked communication head-on by using its own proprietary algorithms.

"By completely transforming how the product looks, works, and is purchased, we are one step closer to our overarching goal of changing the way the world thinks about hearing loss and eliminating the stigmas surrounding it," said Christian Gormsen, Eargo’s president and CEO.
