Health Universe Introduced its AI Agent Workspace

Health Universe launched an AI-enabled workflow orchestration platform for healthcare that creates and deploys custom AI agents, the company said in a seed funding announcement led by Kleiner Perkins. The platform pulls patient records from national exchange networks via partner Kno2 into an ONC-certified, secure workspace, featuring governance, observability and human-in-the-loop controls designed for clinical settings.

Health Universe highlighted fast deployments using foundation models such as ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini or fine-tuned models, and said partners like Duke Clinical Research Institute used the platform to compress a typical clinical trial setup timeline dramatically. The startup will use $6 million in new funding to scale integrations with oncology and research teams, hire engineers and data scientists, and accelerate agent adoption across academic medical centers and health systems, making AI workflows more accessible to clinicians.
