The New Beats Headphone Headsets Feature Apple's W1 Audio Chip

The new Beats headphone headsets -- including the Solo3, Powebeats3 and BeatsX -- are all newly designed with exceptional features as well as the all-new Apple W1 audio chip.

The W1 audio chip enables the new headphones to be connected to any device running Apple's iOS 10 in an instant and provide exceptional connectivity with impressive battery life.

Starting with the Beats Solo3, the headphones provide up to 40-hours of battery life per charge, while Fast Fuel technology allows five minutes of charging to give users three hours of playback.

The Powerbeats3 are designed for athletes and will offer 12-hours of wireless audio before requiring a charge, while the BeatsX headphone headsets will deliver eight hours of playback. They also feature Fast Fuel charging technology and are all fitted with Apple's Lightning connector for charging.
