The Havaianas x mastermind JAPAN Collection is Traditional

The Havaianas x mastermind JAPAN collection is being launched by the popular flip-flop brand as a new range of Japanese-inspired footwear styles that aim to deliver style and comfort. The Tradi Zori style is inspired by the traditional Japanese Zori sandal that fixes its oversized rectangular aesthetic with a cushioned flip flop-inspired footbed. The collection also includes the Top sandal, which takes the mastermind JAPAN branding into consideration with skull and crossbones accents.

The Havaianas x mastermind JAPAN collection will be available in Asia Pacific territories starting on June 10 with worldwide availability set for June 17.

mastermind JAPAN Founder Masaaki Homma spoke on the collaboration saying, "Havaianas is iconic and the most famous flip flop brand in the world, so to collaborate with a flip flop brand, it has to be Havaianas. Zori is a traditional form of footwear in Japan, so we are very honored that they chose us to be the first brand to collaborate with the new Zori model. We love Havaianas’ products and working on the new Zori model was the icing on the cake.”
