In the spirit of Halloween, Bookings.com had a series of posters made to advertise some of the world's most haunted hotels.
Amsterdam's Widen & Kennedy agency was responsible for the initiative and created a series of seven cinematic-inspired posters for each hotel, hinting that anyone brave enough to book a reservation at one of these hotels would soon have a starring role in their very own horror movie.
The posters feature beautiful, but creepy illustrations hand-painted by Akiko Stehrenberger that reference scary movies like 'Psycho' and 'The Shining.' This is a clever campaign, since Bookings.com is essentially saying that with its hotel booking services, you can stay anywhere in the world you want -- even some of the scariest places that are rumored to be haunted.
