There is a raw energy to the work of visual artist Hannah Putz that is reminiscent of German photographer Juergen Teller's style. There is an honesty to her images that give her subjects an ethereal beauty. Or perhaps it is her subject's ethereal beauty that gives Hannah Putz's work a sense of honesty. Whatever the case, the resulting images are charmingly candid.
Living and working between Vienna, Austria, and London, England, Hannah Putz is a visiting lecturer at the University of Art and Design in Linz and the BAUHAUS University in Weimar. Her work has appeared in TAR, New York Magazine, Zeit Magazin, British Journal of Photography and DUST Magazine amongst others. With such an impressive portfolio already, Hannah Putz is on her way to Juergen Teller status.
