For her graduate collection, designer Vivien Chong created hand-pleated garments that mimic the architectural form of famous buildings by architect Steven Holl and modern art sculptures by the hugely talented Alyson Shotz.

The collection, which is titled 'Pleating Architecture,' showcases Chong's incredible way with light and shadow. Chong masterfully layers each piece, creating dynamic garments that almost seem take on a life of their own.

Chong's interpretation of art and architecture for the human form is truly inspiring. The collection is beautifully sculptural, yet manages to be fluid and flattering on the body. Her craftsmanship and dedication to excellence is evident in each skillfully created piece.
