Unexpected Halloween Costumes

Courtney Scharf Walks You Through Unflattering Halloween Looks

— October 15, 2013 — Special
Trend Hunter’s Courtney Scharf shares some very creepy and awkward Halloween looks that you might like to try out this October. The costumes are unflattering, but are also creative and original. Instead of being a cat for the third year in a row, why not try something that you’ll really remember?

A Tetris-inspired classic game costume requires a group of people to play each set of cubes. This is a fun and unique way to go out with your friends and dress up for Halloween. Unusual unicorn outfits are also very bizarre, yet hilarious costumes you can try out. The costume is basically an oversized onesie with a mane, tail and unicorn horn at the top of the hood.

Two other hilarious Halloween looks are large lobster claws and Viking toques. The hats are shaped like a cozy helmet with horns and a long, knitted beard with braids. You’ll look great and stay warm outside.

Courtney Scharf’s favorite costume from this list is the neon stick figure disguise. The glow sticks form a stick woman or stick man and late at night all anyone will see is your stick figure body, eerily walking down the street. Get inspired for Halloween with any of these unflattering Halloween looks.
