Guild Esports Secures a Major Partnership with Sky UK

Guild Esports, a British esports organization famously backed by David Beckham, has announced that it has signed a major partnership with media and entertainment company Sky UK. Guild’s headquarters will be revamped in order to give Sky UK exclusive naming rights and will now be called Sky Guild Gaming Centre. The facility will be equipped with Sky broadband and Wi-Fi connectivity, as well as Sky branding on the exterior and interior.

Guild and Sky’s partnership will see the brands’ focus shift to providing opportunities for women in esports, delivering peak esports performances and coaching development, and hosting competitions and tournaments for Sky VIP customers. These three pillars will act as core commitments for this partnership.

Kal Hourd, Chief Executive of Guild Esports, commented: “We believe this partnership will drive Guild to the highest levels of performance in top-flight esports across the four games where we field our pro-players, as well as to become a global leader in coaching and performance.”
