Retro Racecar Mint Packaging

'GT Cool Mints' Come in Tins with Old-Fashioned Car Designs

Everyone looks for fresh breath, no matter their aesthetic tastes, so while some mints are presented as a quick grab in the "impulse buy" section of the grocery store, the 'GT Cool Mints' packaging concept plays to a higher-brow crowd.

The mints come in three different packages, each with a distinct color scheme (i.e. hot rod red, cool blue, and peppermint green) and their own watercolor painting designs. The designs on the packages are what lend GT Cool Mints their name. GT stands for "grand touring," and each of the paintings depicts a different old-fashioned racecar, including a Firebird, a Fafnir, and a Bugatti. To add to the classiness, the mints come in tins, rather than plastic or paper boxes, for a more permanent feel.

These concept packages were designed by Stefan Marjoram for the Traveller's Peppermints company.
