Rounds is a free-to-download group video chat app for Apple and Android devices that helps you connect with a large group of friends, face-to-face for free. The HD video chats run on WiFi, 3G, 4G and LTE networks and allows up to 12 individuals (only on iOS) to chat together at once. Within the app, some of the activities that you can take part in with friends include text messaging, gaming, snapping and sharing photos, drawing on images and even watching YouTube videos together. It's like a blend of Facetime, Skype and Snapchat, combining multiple features into one easy-to-access app that does it all and more.

To make splitting up the screen as practical as possible, the Rounds app offers several different modes for users to choose from, such as a side-to-side, top-and-bottom, transparent and even a diagonal split.
