In 2023, British bakery chain Greggs opened the doors to a fine dining bistro and in 2024, Greggs is treating fans of its savory baked goods to an entirely new experience with the Greggs Champagne Bar. At Fenwick’s Food Hall in Newcastle, beginning October 24th, fans can look forward to savoring their favorite bakes and rolls with fine bottles of bubbly.
Fenwick executive head chef Mark Reid created a menu that elevates crowd-pleasing savory pastries like the sausage roll with hot honey sauce or the vegan sausage roll with harissa coconut yogurt.
Inspired by favorite Greggs sweet treats, there are also signature cocktails available, like Yum Yum Twist: a sugar-glazed treat crafted with rum and real Yum Yums, or Cream Éclair, prepared with vanilla vodka and dark chocolate liqueur.
