In anticipation of Black Friday, IKEA Canada is helping consumers opt for a more sustainable lifestyle with the launch of its Green Friday campaign. The month-long initiative focuses on the circular economy with a special offer on our Sell-Back Program, additional savings on Circular Hub (As-Is) items, and incentives for donating furniture and electronics.
“No one wants to be wasteful. We know from research that nine out of ten people are willing to do more to tackle climate change in their daily lives, however many don’t know where to start,” said Melissa Barbosa, Head of Sustainability, IKEA Canada. “With the IKEA Green Friday campaign, we want to show that taking positive steps toward a more sustainable life can be both affordable and convenient.”
The Green Friday campaign is part of IKEA's bigger initiative to be a fully circular and climate-positive business by 2030. As more consumers fear climate change, we can expect brands to respond with sustainablilty-focused offerings.
