Eco-Friendly Takeout

The Green Box Builds Cutlery Right into its Packaging

The earth would be a much greener place if simple designs like the Green Box were mass-produced. The Green Box is a takeout box that includes its utensils within the packaging.

Designer Pai Chang-Hsuan created this simple concept which is in fact very practical as well. The amount of plastic in our landfills could be cut drastically if we started packaging our takeout food in Green Boxes.

Implications - The Green Box is without a doubt a brilliant concept that has been long overdue. I think that the Green Box is a perfect example of how good design can solve some of the most pressing problems of today. The design is quirky enough to catch people's attention and really take off.
