The Grab & Glow Side Table Lamp Integrates Lighting into a Simple Side Table

— February 17, 2026 — Art & Design
The Grab & Glow side table lamp is a furniture concept that combines a side table and a light into a single object that can be moved easily around a living space. Designed by Liam de la Bedoyere, the piece uses its legs to pass through the tabletop and continue upward to form a handle. This handle is where the light source is concealed and becomes visible when a small bolt at the edge is loosened, and the handle is rotated to activate the lamp.

The tabletop is a powder-coated metal disc with a slight lip that prevents books or glasses from sliding when the piece is carried. Integrated cable management routes the power cord down one leg, held with discreet clips, and a cut-out on the tabletop rim allows a plug or charging cable to pass through without being pinched. The compact footprint makes the object suitable for tight corners, and the handle and light travel with the tabletop when it is relocated next to seating or a bed.
