SearchMe.com Lets You View Sites Before You Click Them

— March 2, 2009 — Pop Culture
Will SearchMe.com become the next Google? Searchme.com is a visual search engine that allows you to see the web page before you click it. SearchMe.com hails themselves as “The visual search engine for a visual world.”

The first image in the gallery is an example of what I saw when I searched for TrendHunter.com at SearchMe.com. You can also search for and visualize images, video, music, news, and shopping sites before visiting their respective pages.

I’ve tried SearchMe.com a few times this morning and bookmarked it to my favorites, but I don’t feel ready to leave Google. Maybe they will team up and offer the features at Google? Not impossible.
