A Google Assistant test allows users to text using voice commands from an Android device lock screen. With the newest Google app beta, which is version 10.28, users are able to state the text and who it should go to.
Security concerns had to be addressed for the Google Assistant test. This is why Google Assistant requires visual as well as verbal confirmation for text messages to be sent.
Currently, no information has been released as to a potential launch of the feature. However, its adoption allows users to operate Google Assistant hands-free. Voice command text messaging could be a popular feature amongst drivers, where it could allow them to respond to messages without needing to unlock their phone.
