Goa Tourism is in the midst of making large-scale changes to its brand. While Goa has always been and continues to be one of the world's most coveted tourist destinations, authorities in the former Portuguese colony -- located off the western coast of India -- are trying to creatively modernize its image and target the next generation of tourists.
To do this, Goa Tourism collaborated with Bollywood film Finding Fanny. The organization is running a Facebook campaign that gives people the chance to win a trip to Goa and meet the stars of Finding Fanny, Deepika Padukone and Arjun Kapoor.
In addition to this exciting venture, Goa Tourism also introduced a fresh and modern new logo, and promoted various other plans -- such as improving beach cleaning efforts and tackling drug peddling -- to boost tourism in the state.
