Pokémon Go's Go Battle League Will Allow Users to Play Others Online

Pokémon Go is launching a new feature titled 'Go Battle League,' and it will allow users to battle each other online. Go Battle League builds on the already existing feature Trainer Battles, which allows users to battle other players near them. However, with Go Battle League users can play other users through an online pairing system. The company states that the new feature will roll out at the beginning of 2020, and more information will be released shortly.

Allowing Pokémon Go users to play others online could allow friends to play each other across long distances. This could create a more social playing experience, where users are not restricted to only play those around them.
