Roblox Unveils a New Party Feature for Group Play and Voice Chatting

Roblox has launched a new Party feature, enhancing social connectivity for all. Available globally on desktop, iOS, and Android, the feature allows friends to select a game and join the same server together, with the ability to rejoin sessions if needed. Players can also move across different games as a group.

The feature includes a Party API, launching next year, to allow developers to create customized group experiences. Notably, Party is limited to existing friends, addressing safety concerns by preventing younger users from interacting with strangers. Users under 13 cannot chat in a Party, ensuring a secure environment for younger players. This feature strengthens Roblox's social gaming experience while prioritizing user safety, allowing gamers to connect in new and exciting ways.
