The Spar gluten-free sausages have been launched by the brand as a new in-house range of products for consumers that will offer consumers an alternative option to enjoy. The sausages are made with British pork and maintain a gluten-free profile in response to the increasing number of shoppers who are looking to avoid it for health or diet reasons.
The sausages come in six flavor options including Butchers Choice, Premium Cumberland, Premium Lincolnshire, Premium Pork & Brambly Apple, Premium Pork Chipolatas and Premium Pork. The products also debut a new packaging redesign that can be observed across the standard and premium lines.
Spar UK Assistant Brand Manager Dave Wright spoke on the new products saying, "The launch of our gluten-free sausage range not only taps into current growth in the gluten-free market, but also offers a fantastic opportunity for retailers. The range’s premium design and luxury feel follows the success of similar packaging across our own label lines.”
