The Glo Collection is at once luxurious and whimsical. The former owes itself almost entirely to the rich metallic finish of each light fixture while the latter is due in large part to the transparent globular shape they take on. This 'bubble' appears to form a delicate encasement around a more typical lampshade. Nevertheless, the orbs are made out of borosilicate glass and thus will not pop upon contact with solid objects.
Designed by Carlo Colombo for Italian lighting company Penta, the Glo Collection is particularly striking when grouped together as though they were just blown into being. Offering both pendant and table versions, the Glo Collection is available in clear as well as gold, silver or iridescent treatments. They are perfect for the home and the office.
