The SJCC Glamping Resort is located near the city of Suunncheon, South Korea. The site offers a relaxing mountainous landscape, doused in the greenery of predominantly cypress trees. Atelier Chang takes it upon itself to create a playful and nuance-rich aesthetic for the Glamping Resort. The ultimate goal is to provide a worthwhile luxury retreat that will allow "would-be campers [...] to be close — but not too close — to nature."
The result is a series of bold chromatic tents that offer temporary residents the opportunity to marvel at the beauty of the Suncheon Ecological Bay. While the fashion-forward pods meet the luxurious standards of the SJCC Glamping Resort, their location and proximity to nature facilitate a direct relationship between tourists and the lush mountainous environment.
