The Givenchy Fall 2013 Collection Dazzled With Archival Reference

With a front row that included Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Carine Roitfeld and Frank Ocean, the Givenchy Fall 2013 runway presentation did not fall short with worthy spectators.

This Autumnal season saw creative director Riccardo Tisci's eighth year with the french fashion house. The collection boasted a lighthearted approach that referenced Tisci's past creations at Givenchy. He brought together the elegance of decorative sheer skirts with the casual allure of graphic sweatshirts.

It is no surprise that this juxtaposition resonated well with critics, as Nicole Phelps of Style.com called the collection, "One of those fashion moments that true believers slog through four weeks of shows for. It gave you goose bumps." Givenchy Fall 2013 certainly inspires awe in yet another demonstration of Tisci's divine ouvre.
