TirTir Launches the 'Mask Fit Red Cushion'

Cushion compacts have returned to the spotlight as brands reintroduced travel-friendly foundation formats, led by K-beauty maker TirTir with its viral 'Mask Fit Red Cushion' featuring an oval “red egg” casing.

The format delivers foundation via a saturated sponge housed in a compact, designed to deposit ultra-thin, buildable layers with a treatment-like finish. Major labels joined the wave with launches including "Dior Forever Hydra Glow, Prada Reveal Mesh Cushion Foundation and L’Oréal Paris Infallible Cushion Foundation, plus limited-edition takes from Givenchy and niche releases from Sculpted By Aimee."

Packaging specialists and brand marketers attributed the comeback to renewed appetite for K-beauty virality and speed, plus the format’s ability to create a lightweight, skin-enhancing finish that suits on-the-go routines and hybrid skincare–makeup trends.
