This April a team of eight young women met with the marketing team of Virgin mobile to pitch their services as an innovative ad firm. The group, Girl's Eye View, teamed up with ad firm 3iYing, to push the idea that most ad firms are out of sync with how to connect with young woman. They argued that magazine's like CosmoGIRL were 'out of sync with the 21st century girl'. The group is working with an industrial design firm, Smart Design, to help create its own line of innovative products. In just 10 months, the young team has derived innovative ways to sell everything from condoms and lingerie to food. They call their ideas "Girl Made, Girl Approved".
