Snapchat Launches an AR-Based In-App Game Called 'Ghost Phone'

Snapchat has launched a new in-game app titled ‘Ghost Phone,’ allowing consumers to explore the story of an abandoned phone and hunt supernatural beings during their journey. The game can be accessed through Snapchat’s Lens Explorer feature, where users can locate the Ghost Phone’ game by tapping the game itself, the Rocket icon, or by using a special link. Players can join the ghost-hunting efforts by performing activities in-game, finding clues, and unlocking Camera Modes to capture the AR ghosts.

Players don’t have to worry about losing their progress on ‘Ghost Phone,’ as the game saves your place in the gripping story. Simply quit or exit the Snapchat app and reopen the game when you’re ready to hop back into the action. Interested parties can visit the Snapchat app to play the company’s first AR-based game.
