Wireless Fitness-Tracking Earbuds

The Gear IconX Earbuds Allow Users to Track Fitness Metrics

This week, Samsung announced the release of its new Gear IconX earbuds, which are designed to complement its Gear Fit 2 fitness-tracking smartwatch. Not only are the new earbuds completely wireless, but they also provide a hands-free way for consumers to track valuable fitness metrics.

Like any pair of headphones, the Gear IconX earbuds allows users to enjoy their favorite music while working up a sweat. However, what sets these earbuds apart is that they allow users to track important fitness information and even take calls, all without the need for a pesky cord. All of this is possible via Bluetooth, which allows the completely wireless earbuds to track information such as distance, speed and heart-rate. To charge the earbuds, all users need to due is pop them inside the pocket-sized charging case.

The new earbuds not only give users a wireless option for listening to music at the gym, but they also replace wearable fitness trackers with a more discrete solution.
