A spot-on description by Style.com labeled the G-Star Spring 2010 collection as an "army of tough, monochrome urbanites.", which, given the white denim, tuxedo jumpsuits and geometrical garments was not far off the mark for G-Star.
Always experimenting with new ways to wear clothing, G-Star’s patterned geometrical garments provided flair for the everyday dresses, suit-jackets and tees. The label's passe white denim bikini shorts, however, were un-inventive, un-inspired and left little to the imagination.
Implications - With so many different stresses emerging each day, consumers are looking for products that will bring some structure into their lives. Designs that feature an orderly aesthetic appeal to those looking to take control of their hectic lifestyles while staying stylish.
