Oakley Taps JR Smith to Promote Its Fusion Collection

The performance brand Oakley has released a new range of products under the Fusion Collection. This comprehensive golf-oriented line was developed in collaboration with former professional athlete JR Smith.

The Fusion Collection is comprised of the Edge Elite Golf Shoe with its "inner waterproof membrane and zippered weather shield," the Fusion Jacket with its hydro‑free DWR finish for protection against the elements, the Shoeone Bag — which delivers "a multi-pocket, convenient storage for golf shoes, eyewear, accessories and valuables" — alognside the effortless and abrasion-resistant Fusion Chino, the knit polyester C1 Fusion Top, and the lightweight Fusion Cap.

Oakley's Fusion Collection is presented as a challenge to conventional sport aesthetics within the gold industry. The silhouettes aim to merge functional design for on-course play with a versatile, expressive style intended to resonate with off-course events.
