AIchan and GONta are the names of two funny robots created by a lab at Japan's Konan University, which use an AI program and play off of one another to tell jokes. Specifically, these robots work together to form manzai-style stand-up comedy routines from Japanese culture, which traditionally involve a "straight man" and a "funny man" who rapidly trade jokes based on mutual misunderstandings, puns, gags and wordplay.
