This Nestlé functional milk product is being launched by the company under the Yiyang Active brand as an option for consumers who are looking to support their health and wellness as they age. The product is targeted towards older consumers who require support when it comes to mobility and features a powdered format that can be easily mixed for nutritional support. The beverage is being launched in China and comes as one of a growing number of targeted wellness products specifically for seniors as they seek to stay healthy into their later years.
Scientist Marie Noëlle Horcajada spoke on the efficacy of the new Nestlé functional milk product saying, "The results of the clinical study showed that the product in combination with tailored physical activity led to a significant increase in mobility of Chinese seniors with joint discomfort and thus improved their quality of life."
