Mariya Lyubashevskaya Creates Full-Face Highlighter Makeup

Dubai-based, self-taught makeup artist Mariya Lyubashevskaya has pioneered a unique new beauty technique: full-face highlighter. Lyubashevskaya debuted the look on her Instagram page with a photo and short video, following up soon after with an extended YouTube video showing all of the techniques and products she used. Lyubashevskaya stated in the caption for the initial photo that the look was created to be "something artsy," and wasn't intended as a truly "wearable" makeup style.

This week, YouTubers Nikkie Tutorials and Jeffree Star took to their respective channels to emulate the full-face highlighter look, crediting Lyubashevskaya and encouraging others to upload their own takes on the style. In response, Lyubashevskaya wrote on Instagram that she loved seeing the other artists' takes on her concept and encouraged her followers to share their versions online using #HighlightersOnly.
