The vegan-friendly nuggets feature three of the chicken characters from the film positioned front and center alongside a sign that proclaims, "Choose Plant! No Fowl Play." The specially branded nuggets are being launched to coincide with the release of the film, but also Veganuary to offer consumers a delicious and easy alternative to chicken nuggets. The product is launching at select Tesco, The Food Warehouse, Iceland and Spar locations on December 26, 2023.
Head of Marketing at Fry's and LIVEKINDLY Collective Nicola Yates spoke on the Fry's Plant-Based Nuggets Chicken Run branding saying, "It’s a massive win for us to be collaborating with such an iconic movie brand, and the likes of Netflix and Aardman. We hope that bringing such an exciting collaboration to the meat-free aisle will engage even more consumers to try plant-based this Veganuary and beyond."
