To the supreme convenience of its customers, McDonald's is giving away a free fry holder. This quirky item can be attached to everyday objects in everyday spaces in order to better enjoy the iconic fries.

This marketing initiative by the golden arches in Japan is quite a clever idea. It creates a bond with customers as it makes it more likely that they will want to get best use out of the device by filling it with fries. If the product is actually fastened to a spot where the customer is exposed to on a regular basis, it will remind them of McDonald's.
