The Front Design Group Indulges Belief in Magic Through Designs

The Front design group straddles the line between art and furniture when it comes to their surreal creations. While some items such as the bright branching Surface Tension Lamp and tray-like Doodle Table are easily recognizable as pieces of furniture, the Anomaly seats and Fog lamp are less so. Instead of playing the guessing game, however, the pieces simply encourage people to embrace their creative and imaginative sides.

Based in Stockholme, Sweden, the Front design group was founded by Sofia Lagerkvist, Charlotte von der Lancken and Anna Lindgren. Inspired by their fascination with magic, their furniture designs are based on common discussions, explorations and experiments. They must have some fun and funny conversations in the studio.

Front design group will present their new creations during Design Week in Milan, Italy, this year.
