Cheesy Fried Chicken Tacos

This Chain is Putting a Mexican-Inspired Twist on Its Fried Chicken

KFC recently added fried chicken tacos to its South Korean menu. While the chain is well known for its deep-fried chicken, the new Mexican-inspired dish demonstrates that the restaurant is looking to give consumers new ways to enjoy its original fare.

The new fried chicken tacos are called 'Zinger Tacos' and they closely resemble that of the Cheesy Gordita Crunch from the company's sister chain Taco Bell. The new taco dish consists of a crunchy taco wrapped in a layer of cheese sauce and a soft flour tortilla. Inside the taco is strips of fried chicken and a medley of lettuce, onions, tomatoes and salsa.

While South Korea is also home to many Taco Bell locations, the new dish helps to expand the existing KFC menu with a tasty, hand-held snack option.
