The menu item will be available at participating locations starting June 23, 2026 and boasts the brand's signature apple filling and golden pie crust that have been deep fried to perfection. The relaunch of the apple pie treat is being celebrated with a 35-foot Fried Apple Pie on Route 66 where fans are encouraged to snap a selfie this summer.

The revival of the McDonald's Fried Apple Pie is taking place at the perfect time to coincide America's 250th birthday taking place this summer and is expected to be a must-have amongst nostalgic foodies.
