Parquet Announces Chef Zachary Darke as Its New Executive Chef

Parquet, a Michelin Guide-listed French bistro in Toronto's Harbord Village, has welcomed Chef Zachary Darke as its new Executive Chef. Known for his expertise in French cuisine and dedication to seasonal ingredients, Chef Darke has introduced a fall menu featuring a blend of contemporary interpretations of classic dishes.

The new offerings at the popular French bistro include a fresh tomato and camembert salad enhanced with Niagara tomato vinaigrette, a seafood linguine showcasing Fogo Island shrimp and crab, and the 'Poulet Royal,' which features a half chicken prepared in three distinct ways accompanied by various sauces, zucchini, and housemade brioche. These dishes are set alongside Parquet’s well-loved staples such as duck confit and steak tartare. To complement the seasonal menu, sommelier Lexi Wolkowski is updating the wine selection to pair seamlessly with the new dishes.
