I’m going to openly admit that in my lifetime I’ve had two bikes stolen from me. One because I didn’t have a lock, and the second because the thief had a pair of bolt cutters.
With the Freelock Cycle designed by Bong Hokuen & Ko Yoenjung, neither of the previous situations would have happened.
The FreeLock Self-Locking Bicycle turns the seat of the bike into a full fledged locking system. A bar comes from the frame and connects to the bottom of the seat for a tough secure lock.
The locking system of the bike can also be rotated 90 degrees in order to comfortably lock the bike to a standing pole of some sort.
It’s a pretty slick design and a great way to save some money and spare the tears of a small child.
