The Frame Bookshelf by Luka Pirnat is Decorative and Practical

The Frame Bookshelf provides a creative way to display books of all sorts. It is like a simple floating shelf that has been made hollow. Because of this tweak, the Frame Bookshelf is smaller and more squarish than standard long, rectangular models. This allows books to rest within the hollowed out portion without falling straight through.

Created by Luka Pirnat, a designer based in Ljubljana, Slovenia, the Frame Bookshelf acts as much as a piece of decor as it does a functional furnishing. The designer intends for it to function this way, stating, "It can function as a single piece but is much more effective when several are grouped together, serving decorative as well as practical purpose."
