Located inside a Georgian building on Dover Street, this fragrance shop interior is a stunning cave-like retail experience that features barely any furniture or fixtures. Designed by Antonino Cardillo, Illuminum is a conceptual retail space is defined by its steel grey textured walls that are lit to appear as if curved and minimal fixtures, using instead suspended glass bowls to contain the displayed scents.
The unique retail concept takes the brand experience out of the visual realm, with only moody lighting and textured walls to see, and almost strictly into the realm of scent by putting the emphasis on the products.
This innovative conceptual fragrance shop interior is sure to be influential given its proximity to the style center of London and careful curation of a sensory driven retail experience.
