Tourbillon Souverain Joaillerie Rubis is a high jewelry watch created by F.P. Journe using 86 carats of baguette cut rubies across the case and clasp. The 44 millimeter platinum case is fully set with 93 rubies that were individually cut from rough stones to achieve uniform shape and color. The dial is made from ruby zoisite stone, forming a natural mineral surface. The watch houses the hand-wound Caliber 1519 movement with a tourbillon and constant force remontoir mechanism.
Ruby setting is applied across all visible exterior surfaces, including the folding clasp. Gem selection and cutting were performed specifically for this single piece. Assembly required precision gem placement and traditional haute horology finishing techniques. Production is limited to an extremely small quantity.
