Fast Tourbillon Timepieces

The Jacob & Co. God of Time Features a Four-Second Tourbillon

The Jacob & Co. God of Time is a limited-edition mechanical wristwatch introduced by Swiss watchmaker Jacob & Co. The Jacob & Co. God of Time is powered by a hand-wound movement that includes a tourbillon completing one full rotation every four seconds. The movement is housed in a 44.5-millimeter case crafted from 18-karat rose gold. The dial is finished in blue aventurine glass and incorporates a sculptural figure of Chronos positioned above the mechanical display. Hours and minutes are indicated by traditional hands, while the tourbillon is prominently visible on the front of the watch.

The movement incorporates lightweight components to support the rapid rotation of the tourbillon cage and is designed with a power reserve of approximately 60 hours. Sapphire crystal is used on both the front and back of the case. The caseback features decorative detailing associated with the brand’s founder. The watch is produced in a numbered edition with a fixed production quantity.
