BrewDog Mello has been added to the brand's product portfolio as a series of alcohol-free beers that put functional ingredients in the spotlight to strike a balance for wellness-minded consumers.
The beer range consists of alcohol-free beers infused with magnesium, balm extract and chamomile that will help to reduce feelings of fatigue and tiredness. The beers will come in four packs of 330ml cans in Lime & Mint and Peach & Passionfruit flavor options priced at £6.50. The products are targeted towards the sizable number of consumers in the UK who are looking to reduce their alcohol intake or who simply don't drink at all.
Senior Marketing Manager Adam Turner spoke on the BrewDog Mello range saying, "The growth of low and no alcohol along with functional drinks has been hard to ignore. Our research has shown that the design and proposition of Mello have a very strong appeal with 18–35-year-old functional AF drinkers – the future of the beer, wine and spirits category – and 34.4% of respondents say that they would drink AF beer if they liked the taste. Our new fruit-led flavours tap into this, along with the growing popularity of lighter, fruitier beer options.”
