Formwork by Herman Miller is a series of storage trays that make it easier to keep your workstation organized. Formwork was designed by Sam Hecht and Kim Colin of Industrial Facility and is made up of a variety of plastic trays with non-slip bases. Each tray is designed to hold the multitude of items found on a work desk.
Most people expect to see computer peripherals, paper and pens/pencils on desk, but Hecht and Colin knew that these weren't the only items found on desks. Formwork by Herman Miller is designed to hold everything from iPods to coffee mugs and calculators. The minimalist storage trays can be stacked on one another to create compact shelving units. In addition to looking nice, a clean work station increases productivity, which explains the recent design emphasis on desktop and office storage.
