Flypay Uses an App and a NFC/QR Sticker to Simplify Restaurant Payments

There are now tons of apps that make it possible for diners to pay for their meals all from within an app, but Flypay provides a system that's both digital and tangible.

When it comes time to pay for a meal in-restaurant, diners are able to make use of Flypay's mobile payment app. What makes this system truly unique is that it also uses NFC and QR technology for the bill-paying process. To pay, diners need only tap the NFC tag or QR code on their table to access the table's bill. From there, there are options to pay in full or split the bill, once a debit or credit card has been registered with Flypay.

The solution is aimed at speeding up and simplifying the payment process, while also increasing table turnaround times. Flypay has also experimented with integrating its service into existing restaurant apps like Burrito Mama’s.
