Flora & Noor founder Jordan Karim saw a lack of halal-certified beauty products in the United States and set out to create her own brand. A product is halal-certified by going through vigorous testing and adhering to the standards of the Islamic Society of the Washington Area (ISWA) Halal Certification Department. In terms of skincare, halal products cannot contain alcohol or any animal by-products.

Flora & Noor's halal-certified skincare range includes everything from sugar scrubs and brightening Vitamin C cleansers to resurfacing toners. The luxe, organic skincare is for those who appreciate clean beauty, as well as products that speak to the specific needs of melanin-rich skin.
